I love David Brenner! Enjoy! (And I’m so glad you enjoyed my piece on centering…it was a meaningful moment for me and I’m glad to know it held meaning for others.)
I didn’t realize you homeschooled, that is awesome! (My kids are grown but we homeschooled for 15 years!) Tanner’s book is sweet isnt it? I had the opportunity to meet him and get the book, he is THE nicest guy!
So awesome! Yeah, I was actually homeschool up until college. We've done probably every school option since becoming parents, but have really been enjoying our rhythms of homeschooling over the past few years! So glad you also like Tanner's book!
Thank you for mentioning me Brianna!😊 I also had to read Presence and Encounter in my first semester of grad school to become a therapist. Great message!
Thank you for recommending that book on homeschooling! We're starting to think towards schooling options for our girl (she'll be 2 in July so still a couple years out but soon!) and then as we navigate Liam and all his health concerns over the years. I added that book to my TBR list for when I finish my current books!
Also looooove those candles. Totally giving Hogwarts vibes and I must have them.
haha yes the candles are awesome! I'm a huge candle fan, but with so many kids, I only burn 1-2 at a time, so the battery ones are the next best thing!
I love that you're considering homeschooling! I was homeschooled up to college! We have tried a lot of schooling options for my kids over the years and right now, homeschooling has been such a good choice for our family and my kids are really loving it. We're going to be doing a lot of until studies by Gather Round Homeschool if you ever want to check them out! We've never done unit studies before, so I'm looking forward to it.
So impressed with your commitment to Substack even with recent changes in your family. I’ve hit a heavy writer’s block! Thanks for sharing all these resources. So much good stuff!
There is such an ebb and flow for sure! I hope you can hold grace and kindness for yourself in the current season you are in. We actually have a lot more changing coming soon, so I've had to be really intentional about only doing what is life giving to me (with writing) and letting everything else fall gently aside.

I am so grateful for your words here in the Substack world, Amy!

Amen... Good job, Brianna, we're proud of you!
Thank you, Andrew!
