Hello there! It brings me great joy that you’ve taken the time to stop by and read the deep wonderings of my heart that I share in written form for you here.
This is a slow space.
All is welcome here.
We dust for the holy spaces in our everyday lives—together.
We celebrate joy.
We make space for grief.
My deep prayer is that you feel seen and known in this space.
God is near.
You can read a slightly more formal description of me in my “About” section, but let’s take a short walk together as I peel back the curtain of who I am, and what my everyday holy moments are in life.
Because every moment holds the fingerprints of God.
Jesus is the air I live and breathe.
I love natural light.
I’m just now reading/listening to Harry Potter as an adult.
I really love tattoos.
I live on a farm that overlooks the beautiful Appalachian Mountains in the distance. Yes, please enjoy the view below!
I laugh because as a moody teenager I yelled at my parents and said, “Brianna doesn’t do mud!” Now I daily look at cows grazing our pastures and my kids are often caked in more mud than I thought was humanly possible. God has a sense of humor.
My husband’s legal name is Bobby Brown—yes, I know, it’s super cool.
And yes, I am Brianna Brown… lots of “B’s” and let me answer your question now—no, none of our kids have “B” names.
I feel things very deeply.
I’m a lover of any sunrise.
I wrote my first book this year - Check it out HERE
I’ve lived all over the world, but will always prefer my mom’s cooking.
When asked how many children I have, the answer is painfully complicated. Here’s the four beautiful babes that live with me.
My husband (Bobby) and I serve refugees in our northeast Georgia area.
I am life-long learner.
I have a hard time showing the kindness of Jesus when snakes are involved.
When I hear Mandarin Chinese, it feels like home.
I live each day with immense grief and joy weaved together.
I’m slowly turning into a country girl.
On any given day I’ll be wearing at least ten pieces of jewelry.
I’m currently watching my kids learn how to frog gig—gross.
This is just a small window of me.
There is so much more.
I know there is so much more to you too.
What are the holy moments weaved into your life?
I can’t wait to get to know more.
Let’s journey together…
Laughed out loud about the snakes. Love seeing this humorous side of you. And whooooa— that view!
Girllll I've just found your substack but as I read this list I was all, "Same, same, same, same." Haha! Delightful. :)
